Day to Night fashion how to Outfits

January 8, 2017

Since my last blog post, I have spent a lot of time thinking.  I realized that I still have four days worth of outfit photos left on my computer from my photo-shoot that I did with Christian last year that are not posted on my blog.  So I’ve decided that I am going to post the photographs out of respect to Christian as a token of my appreciation for all of his hard work/dedication and the time that he spent helping me bring these images to life. I will include a brief description of what my initial vision was for each outfit post. As for the content of this post and the next few posts, I will be writing/expressing my gratitude, what I have learned from this experience, what success means to me and what to expect in the future from me.  So scroll through to read what I am grateful for and some people that I would like to thank.

During this experience through blogging, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some amazing people.  I have also had the chance to attend some amazing events such as Vancouver and Toronto Fashion Week and Eco Fashion Week.  My next post will go into more detail about what I learned from this experience but I want to stick with gratitude today.  I mentioned in my previous post about happiness and how it impacts our lives.  I think expressing gratitude for the simple small things can really trigger more positive emotions and can spread kindness.  So I hope this post inspires you to reflect upon the people and the experiences in your life and express gratitude to towards them.  What are you grateful for?  Is there someone in your life that you would like to thank and if so, what for?

The People That I Would Like to Thank:

I want to start off with thanking you, my readers.  For taking the time to read my blog and sharing/liking or commenting on my posts online or in person.  The reason why I stuck with this for so long is because of you and all of your love and support has fueled this journey so thank you!

Thank you Christian Nambayan for taking the time out of your busy schedule on evenings and weekends to capture all of these amazing photographs.  Also, thank you for your patience and being open to all of my crazy ideas such as capturing me in the middle of a busy road or letting me goof around while you capture me skipping through a back alley like this last photograph. It has been a pleasure working with you!

Thank you also goes out to Alexandra Hahn, Anna Chau and Chelsey Luren who are some other amazing photographers that I also had the pleasure of working with.  Thank you all for your patience, time and willingness to work with me to capture some of the beautiful images seen on previous blog posts.

Thank you to Stephanie Marie and James Rowlett for your beautiful hair styles that you have done for me for various photo shoots and some of the events that I have attended.  I truly appreciated all of your hard work and patience.  It has been a pleasure working with both of you.

Thank you also goes out to Britta Bisig from the blog Vancouver Vogue, Bree from the blog Urban Umbrella, Lee from the blog LegalleeBlonde, Alicia Haque from Go Live Explore, Samantha Sito, Anna from Stuckblog, Kimberley Marquis from the Chic Confidential annd Lauren Martin from the Stylist Nomad.  You girls are an incredible inspiration.  Keep doing what you are doing.  (I hope I did not miss anyone.  If I did, please reach out to me!)

Thank you to my family and friends.  For supporting and encouraging me to follow my dreams/passions and not give up even when times are tough.  I love you all very much!
