Thrift and consignment shopping isn’t really something that I have done much or knew much about until I met some awesome bloggers who spend hours thrift shopping and end up with great finds. I on the other hand never really had the patience to spend hours looking through racks but after recently making a trip to Mine & Yours luxury resale store here in Vancouver, my view has changed. They have a huge selection of great items from Chanel to Zara with great prices and I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all. Click the read more to find out some tips on how to thrift/consignment shop.
1. Allow lots of time to look through the racks and go at a time when you are not tired or hungry. It takes time to find/search for that little gem hidden within the racks so make sure that you are well rested and that your belly is full so that you do not make an impulse decision or rush.
2. Know the prices. When shopping at a consignment or thrift store you should do your research before and know what the value of certain brands and items are to make sure that you are getting the best price.
3. Do a complete check of the item. I do this anytime before I buy something but take a look at every inch of the item to make sure there are no holes or stains. You would be surprised what you could miss if you don’t take a quick look at the item.
I hope you find those tips helpful! Have a great Monday friends! xo
