I definitely had fun shopping for my holiday party looks and nothing is more exciting than finding great items for under $100. You can shop my looks at the links above and I also tagged a few of my favorite holiday dresses below. My favorite has to be the lace dress! Which one is your favorite?
Shopping for Holiday dresses can be stressful, believe me I have been there many times. My issue usually ends up being mostly everything is too big for my petite frame! But I’ve got a few tips to help you find the perfect holiday dress:
- Stick to classics, whether that is color, style and avoid trend. Try to avoid going for super trendy pieces. Chances are you will love it today but you might not want to wear it again after that one night! Stick to neutral colors such as a black dress – you can never go wrong with a LBD and it is easy to wear again, layer, etc.
- Show some skin but keep it classy. Getting all dressed up for parties is fun but make sure that your dress shows the appropriate amount of skin and you will achieve the look of classy, sophisticated and sexy. A rule of thumb that I usually go by, is if your going to show lots of skin in one area make sure your other parts are covered up!
- Make sure the dress fits right. Finding the perfect dress for your holiday party should fit you right and it shouldn’t be super baggy or too tight. It also depends on your body type and figure so keep that in mind!
Stay tuned, I’ve got some New Years Eve party looks coming up soon on the blog! Happy Monday friends! xo
