I hope you have been having a great holidays with family and friends.  (I’ve spent a bit of time away from technology enjoying time with family and friends and recharging hence the delay in between blog posts.) And I know I say this a lot but I can’t believe how fast this month has flown by!  With that said, the new year is fast approaching and I’ve got a couple inexpensive party looks for you (under $70!!)! Scroll through to read a few tips of how to find comfy yet classy sexy new years eve party looks and recommendation of where to ring in the new year and crash after!

When it comes to New Years Eve, I think we can all agree that we want to feel comfortable, look great and not break the bank in doing so (can you believe this zara dress I’m wearing is only $30 and the jumpsuit is $62!!! What great steals!! ) Now for a few tips for finding the perfect new years eve party looks:

  1. Find something you feel comfortable in.  Whether your dancing the night away or hanging out at a friend’s place, chances are you will be moving around in your outfit or sitting at some points.  I choose a loose fitted dress and a low plunging neckline jumpsuit.  Both are super comfortable and offer a chance for my entire body to breathe and move around!
  2. Choose something that shows a bit of skin.  What I love about the dress is the slit in the front and the jumpsuit’s low plunging neckline and low back.  They both are still classy yet sexy which ultimately will make you feel and look great!
  3. Choose classic colors or subtle sparkles.  I love the subtle rain sparkle details on dresses such as the one in my pictures above but you can also never go wrong with black and dress it up with accessories.

If your in Vancouver for New Years eve, I’d recommend ringing in the new year at Prohibition and spending the night in one of the amazing rooms at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia.

All this talk of new years eve has already got me thinking about setting some new years resolutions for the year like blogging consistently…what are some of your new year resolutions?
